a story. For weeks, people could not stop watching or listening. The school year also started with a release from Glass Animals. How To Be A Human Being was released at the end of August. Glass Animals don’t get nearly as much appreciation as they deserve. Their new album is the perfect study music for their fans. It was a step out of the box and more upbeat and raw than the band has been before. The funky yet chill vibes fit in perfectly with the eclectic releases that 2016 has brought. December 2016 The internet was hooked. The album still ranks in Billboard’s top 100 albums. Lemonade was filled with girl power and seemed to be exactly what people needed in this crazy year. Summer ended with more good music to push us into the school year. Frank Ocean left everyone waiting for months for his new album to drop. His fans were biting their nails waiting for it to come out and, when it finally did, the internet practically blew up. Music wise, this year was a huge success. Every season of the year was defined by a legendary album. This year was defined by strange electric sounds and chill rapping. Every artist seemed to step outside the box in the music realm, yet everyone stayed true to their name. Ocean’s album was everything fans were expecting. Five songs from Blonde were ranked in Billboard’s Hot 100. Blonde started the school year with chill vibes and intriguing raps. Now sit back, turn on some The Life of Pablo, and study for these upcoming finals. Once they're over, we have a new set of music to look forward to.
