Rich Vitiello, Two Year Candidate. Christian Price, Running for Re-election. Lee Feiles, Two Year Candidate. We posted the challenge on our Facebook wall with a one-week deadline to accept the offer. We knew all but one candidate had not been contacted in some way. We knew some candidates would blow us off since we are not traditional media. We knew some would be reluctant to take this. So we made no efforts to reach out to the candidates. Those that knew about the challenge—also knew our audience and viewership is too big to ignore. A few candidates wanted to, but just didn’t make it in before the deadline. At the end of it all though, we want to know who is really about community and not afraid to show it. Of the three candidates running for the two-year council seat, Lee Feiles and Rich Vitiello accepted the challenge. Of the seven running for the four-year seat, Peggy Chapados, Henry Wade, and Marty Hermanson accepted the challenge.
