imem teachers exposed!
Throughout
your
study
at
NHTV/BUas
you’ve
had
many
teachers.
Some you hated and some you loved, but there is always that one
teacher that you just cannot forget when thinking of studying IMEM.
We have interviewed three teachers from IMEM which you will definitely have
not forgotten, and this is not your regular teacher interview. No, we dug
deep to find out the most interesting things that you’ve always wanted to
know about these people. Find out how they are doing and watch the video
to see some Tuesday dilemma’s our favourite teachers are struggling with.
Charlie Hicks (IMEM)
Arleen Cuevas (IMEM)
Arnoud Versluis (ADE)
What is your very first memory from school?
Charlie: I had an 8am English class my freshman
year. It was winter and I was late, and I jumped
on my bike and went around the corner
and completely slid out across the street
into a ditch. Then I had to pick myself
up and go to class dirty, cold and wet.
Arleen: I was on my way to my first class in college,
I checked my schedule for the room number, and
it said ‘TBA’, I didn’t know that it meant ‘to be
announced’. Obviously, I couldn’t find it, so I was
late for my first class with a lot of other classmates.
Arnoud: My very first memory from high school
was an excursion to Berlin. At that time there was
still the division between West and East Berlin.
I really got an impression of the communist
society and the capitalist society, which had a
big impact on myself as a teenager in that time.
