What does the
Changing Media
Landscape mean
for you?
The changing media landscape will continue to
shift. Moreover, technological evolution does not
wait for anyone – rather you keep up with it, or
you are constantly catching up with the world.
Having a career in the media nowadays means that
your job will constantly change, and grow as well -
having more and more opportunities to develop. The best
thing to do is to learn to adapt to each and every trend.
As the press critic - A. J. Liebling said “freedom of the
press belongs to those who own one.” Because of
technology, now everyone owns a press. In the
meantime, digital ad revenue is growing. University at
Buffalo states that traditional media, such as print is not
getting much of thatrevenue. According to Meltwater
Media, more and more printing publications are closing.
The digital media had given the opportunity to the
regular person to interact with politics on a whole
new level. The politicians nowadays have to be really
careful with what they do and say because it can
be spread around the world just for a few seconds.
The changing media also provides the ability for
politicians to engage with people much more easily.
