News host, Rachel Maddow, and Cher are among the celebrities and “experts” spreading misinformation about the osteopathic profession
“The country and the world need to be better educated about who we are as DOs,” Dr. Cole states in the video. “Please stop the ignorance because I want to continue to DO what I love and love what I DO.”

Alumna, Josephine Conte, DO ‘11, was selected as one of American Osteopathic Foundation’s 2020 State Emerging Leaders. She was recognized at the Virtual Honor’s Gala in October. Dr. Conte is a family medicine/OMM/NMM/Integrative Medicine physician at Central Maine Health.
