According to the NRMP, in 2018 1,165 couples matched together, boasting a success rate of 95.8%.3 At UNE COM, a number of couples took this long, and laborious road together, hoping to match near each other for the next stage of their careers. We caught up with three couples, Kyle Cornell, DO ’18 and Gavin Kuns, DO ’18, Tom Gallant, DO ’18 and Ivy Co, DO ’18, and Stephanie Krom, DO ’18 and Gabriel Vachon, DO ‘18 after graduation to have them share with us their experiences, and weary trepidations.
