The
COMMITTED starts buying it and showing it off as well( for example: Labubus, Dubai chocolate, Stanley cups, Uggs, etc.). You might not even like them after some time, but you still have them because everyone else has them.
From the moment the new generation was born, technology was already present in their lives. They encountered technology from the very beginning and believed much of what they saw on their parents’ phones. Many children started wearing glasses at a young age, and this reflects the impact of technology and social media on their lives. This shows how much social media affects both us and the new generation, sometimes even leading to serious problems such as depression.
However, the previous generation was not like this at all. They did not even have phones at an early age. Many things were different back then. While this generation often tries to look older, dress similarly, and share the same interests so they will not feel left out, the previous generation matured in different ways. They had different styles and interests, and people were not trying to look the same. Since there were no phones, children would play physical games such as hide and seek, football, or anything fun that came to mind. At the same time, they also took on responsibilities at a very young age.
In conclusion, was it worth it? Probably not. However, this does not mean social media is entirely negative. As mentioned earlier, social media is one of the main factors responsible for the transformation of the new generation, creating a clear difference between generations. Social media changes their perspectives, their views on life, and sometimes even their direction in life, making this generation very different from the previous ones.
