Transformation

Ela AĞIR ‣
If you could meet the person you were three years ago, do you believe it would be the same person you are today? Probably most people would say no. Since transformation is inevitable for everyone and everything. Every moment, something changes. Even if it is invisible at times, change lies within you.
Every human being passes through multiple phases, and in each phase, their ideas become increasingly distinct. Thoughts can change due to age, environmental conditions, and similar factors. Transformation is a key part of adolescence. During adolescence, we encounter many changes, both physically and emotionally. Year by years, we do some acts that we may regret later. For instance, doing something or making a decision during adolescence and feeling embarrassed about it shows the situation clearly. As a result, this shows that humans are the strongest evidence of the transformations, with all examples about them.
On the other hand, through human development, cultures transform too. When the ideas of people move toward modernity, their cultures are affected by that. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk once said,“ Success on the path to civilisation depends on renewal.” It shows that for every part of history we need that change; it’ s a social necessity. Also in history, there are a lot of examples of transformation. One of the important ones is Heraclitus; he lived during the late 6th century BCE and the early 5th century. He famously said,“ The only constant in life is change,” in these times.
As a conclusion, transformation is our past, present and future. It forms our actions and decisions. These days, the age of technological evolution is a fact, one that cannot be avoided.
