Transformation
Kaan KÖK ‣
Transformation means changing over time and becoming a better version of yourself. As we grow up, we learn new things, and this learning gradually shapes our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
The biggest transformation in my life has been gaining confidence. In the past, I was afraid to speak in class because I worried about giving a wrong answer and feeling embarrassed. I often focused more on what could go wrong than on what I knew. As a result, I did not raise my hand even when I was sure about the correct answer.
One day, my teacher encouraged me to speak in class and reminded me that everyone learns by trying. When I realized that my friends were listening to me with interest rather than judgment, I felt less afraid. Over time, I began to give short answers, and with each attempt, my confidence grew a little more. These small moments helped me understand that my voice mattered.
Now, I feel much more comfortable speaking in class and sharing my ideas. I have learned that making mistakes is a natural part of learning, not something to be ashamed of. Instead of fearing mistakes, I try to see them as opportunities to improve. This change has made me feel happier, stronger, and more motivated to participate.
I believe that transformation does not happen suddenly. It happens through small but meaningful steps taken overtime. When a person believes in themselves and stays patient, change becomes possible. Personal growth begins with self-awareness, and I am determined to continue moving forward on this path with confidence.
