Transformation Beyond the Obvious

Transformation does not always announce itself in dramatic moments; instead, it often spreads quickly, changing our lives through fast technological change before we even realize it. For our generation, transformation plays a big role in education, communication, and how we make sense of both ourselves and the world around us. For me, this idea of transformation made sense through my growing passion for the film industry.
Films that influenced the way I see storytelling helped me see transformation in a more personal way. Watching classic movies such as The Sound of Music and Singin’ in the Rain introduced me to cinema based on emotion, music, and performance instead of new technology. Watching more recent films like Lady Bird and Little Women helped me notice how storytelling changes with society. Through the work of Christopher Nolan, especially films like Inception, I started to understand how technology, camera techniques, and structure can turn storytelling into exciting experiences. Furthermore, series like Stranger Things, created by the Duffer Brothers, also inspired me, especially knowing how the story developed as the series came together, showing that creativity can happen without everything being planned.
