The Power of Transformation

Cemre Ilgın ÇULLUK ‣
Transformation is something we experience throughout our lives. Sometimes it happens suddenly, and other times we only realize it long after it has occurred. For our generation, change is everywhere; it affects the way we think, learn, and plan our future.

One clear example of transformation is technology. It has become an integral part of our daily lives, especially in education. We use digital platforms, online lessons, and various tools to study, which makes learning faster and more accessible. At the same time, technology can be distracting. Spending too much time on screens can make it harder to focus and communicate face-to-face. In some cases, individuals may even develop mental health issues because they become too accustomed to online communication, making real-life interaction feel difficult. This shows that transformation is not always easy, but it teaches us to adapt. If we learn how to manage change and use technology beneficially, it can become a significant advantage.
Society is also changing. People are now more willing to speak about their beliefs, identities, and challenges. Young people can share their opinions more freely than ever before. This creates awareness and encourages positive change. However, it also means that we must be careful with our words and actions, as they can deeply affect others.
Education has transformed in recent years, particularly through the rise of digital learning. This change has affected me personally; I had to become more independent and take responsibility for my own learning. Although it was challenging at first, it helped me develop new skills and confidence.
Transformation is not always comfortable, but it is necessary. Change helps us grow and understand the world better. As young people, we can be part of this transformation by learning from change and using it to build a better future.
