Transformation Beyond Change

Transformation, for me, is a gradual change in life. Everything around us changes. From laws to the environment, everything transforms. These changes are all around us. The world we live in transforms every second. Even a person can change and transform.

Moments, experiences, and events can transform a person’ s perspective and shape the way one thinks. These transformations do not happen instantly but gradually over time. Transformation is a process that develops and continues to develop. One moment that transformed my perspective on life was when I realized that perfection does not mean being perfect all the time. I used to believe that perfection meant doing everything perfectly— my outfits, academics, sports, posture, choices, and many more. I thought that if I were perfect, I would achieve success.
After a race that I thought was horrible because I didn’ t finish a perfect round, I believed that I had failed. However, when I talked to my horse-riding coach, I learned that I didn’ t have to be perfect but simply do the best I could. He told me that doing my best is real perfection, because perfection is not about doing everything flawlessly, but about putting in your best effort. If I did my best and was happy with the outcome, then whatever the result was, it was perfect— because it was perfect for me. races and exams. After this, I started to slowly implement this mindset into my life. I began these transformations with baby steps. First, I applied this way of thinking to my daily choices and small tasks. Over time, I gradually applied it to bigger events like
