Transformation: It Depends on How We Use it

To me, transformation refers to the difference between the past and the present, or the change from one situation to another. Some transformations are so insignificant that we may not even notice them, while others have a major impact on the world and, in some cases, even on the future. Transformation affects us in many ways; it influences our way of life, our relationships with others, and even our emotions.
One of the most visible examples of transformation is technology. Hundreds of centuries ago, humans did not know how to tame animals, build stable houses, or grow crops. As we can see today, a great deal has improved since those times. Like everything in the world, transformation has both positive and negative aspects. Thanks to transformation, we can access information much more easily, produce renewable energy, communicate faster, and deal with daily problems more efficiently.
Transformation has also improved education. Today, we have smart boards, the internet, and organizations that are designed to support students in their learning processes. However, there are also negative effects of transformation. False information can spread very quickly, diseases are increasing and developing resistance to medications, and people are less social compared to the past.
Moreover, transformation affects nature as well. Air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, and radioactive materials all threaten nature and its inhabitants, and many of these problems are caused by transformation. The Chernobyl disaster is a clear example of environmental damage resulting from technological transformation.
The importance of transformation lies in how we use it. We can reduce its negative effects or increase its positive outcomes to secure a better future for the next generation. By using renewable energy, we can decrease air pollution; by organizing social gatherings, we can protect cultural and social identities; by creating new inventions, we can support society; and by improving education, we can invest in future generations.
In conclusion, transformation is both a blessing and a curse. It all depends on how we choose to use it.
