The Journey of Development

“ The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”-Alan Kay
Humans have constantly invented and discovered new things, which has brought us to the civilization we are today. Innovation is the core of our society, driven by the desire to make life easier and always aiming for more. What started with simple tools became creations that were once just imagination. If we take a look at the present, there are significant new changes that show us how innovative humanity truly is. For example, converting from fossil fuels to renewable sources is a topic being worked on more and more recently, helping with environmental issues like pollution and climate change. The research being carried out to find new materials to counter the excessive usage of plastic could also potentially change our consumption habits and positively impact the environment. There are efforts to discover new formulas for medicine and cures for different complications in healthcare, like the mRNA vaccine technology which emerged in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Another trending area of innovation is space exploration, with the development of new spacecrafts and the observation of the universe on a larger scale with new technology. In the future, we might be able to traverse galaxies and spread throughout the universe, having even more resources available. There are many more exciting developments in different branches, however there is currently an upcoming technology that can change everything in the near future and that is“ Artificial Intelligence”. Artificial Intelligence is capable of completing tasks in a fraction of the time a human would complete it. This concept allows a machine to learn new things and improve itself, achieving a model capable of chatting like a human, performing extremely quick calculations and research, and writing pieces of text in a matter of seconds.
Innovation is an almost unpredictable part of our journey as a society. Who knows what it can bring? The important thing is adapting and supporting this development.
