Innovation, which we frequently encounter in our daily lives, has gradually become a crucial part of our existence. We are increasingly influenced by innovation, a phenomenon observed as an impact of the Modern Era. In terms of its definition, innovation generally refers to the improvement and restructuring efforts in a company’ s products, services, and production processes. These improvements and restructurings, as a whole, emerge from scratch— that is, from the initial stages.
From an observational perspective, we can monitor the process of innovation, which serves as a cornerstone for businesses in enhancing their prestige and value. An innovative and widely accepted approach provides numerous advantages in attracting customers and optimizing processes. Innovation is generally categorized into four main types: service, business model, process, and organizational innovation. Service innovation focuses on novelty and development efforts, business model innovation restructures individual business capabilities, process innovation covers the supply process that delivers advancements to customers, and organizational innovation involves the hierarchical structural organization. In our daily lives, we encounter many companies, most of which sustain their existence by centering around innovation. While hardware companies focus on product design and usability, automotive companies introduce innovations related to vehicle sustainability and fuel consumption to improve their operations.
As a result, it can be said that nearly every company sustains itself and continues its existence day by day through innovation developments and improvement processes aimed at expanding its customer base. These practices, which benefit both customers and companies, hold great significance for both sides.
