AI is already transforming industries, from personalized medicine in healthcare to adaptive learning systems in education. These technologies enable more precise treatments and better access to quality education. In the energy sector, renewable technologies, including advanced solar panels and efficient batteries, are helping combat climate change by promoting sustainability. We don’ t even know how it is going to be in 5 years. It improves itself faster and faster.
And there is another subject that is before our eyes: space developments in technology. Nowadays, it is growing too fast to coincide with anything else. While satellites can be returned from space in one piece today, this was not even possible 20 years ago. Incoming satellites would be shattered, and nothing would be left. The use of technology in education and healthcare is less common than in space, and this perhaps ensures the continuity of human work today. When progress continues in this way, the need for human power becomes less and less, and perhaps it could be eliminated in order to reach the maximum in the field.
This referendum was about removing or reducing work in the field of artificial intelligence from areas where human power could interfere. However, although the referendum was open to controversy, it was ultimately rejected. There was an underlying fear of rejection. It has been announced that if it is left, other countries will not listen to this and will continue to work, and in this case, there will be those who want to abuse this power. And this was an undeniable fact for both humanity and development. A huge risk.
Considering these, a referendum was held within the framework of scientists on artificial intelligence to ensure that the need for human power remains as constant as possible and the value of people in this position does not decrease.
