The Problem with Climate Change

As we all know, the percentage of climate change indubitably increases as days go by. The sad thing is that no one cares enough to see how big of a problem climate change could become. However, is it fully people’ s fault, as implied in most informative articles, or is it just meant to be? In my essay, this question and the possible answers will be elaborated on.
Climate change is considered to have started in the early 19th century, according to the scientists. This period marks the beginning of significant human activity impacting the environment. The exact year of its onset is said to be 1760, but it wasn’ t taken seriously until 1988. This means it took humans 228 years to actually recognize the problem.
You might be surprised but let me tell you that there are actually natural causes of climate change too. Over the course of Earth’ s existence, volcanic eruptions, fluctuations in solar radiation, tectonic shifts, and even small changes in our orbit have all had observable effects on planetary warming and cooling patterns. However, that doesn’ t mean we should place all the blame on natural causes. While these factors contribute to climate change, what has made it rapidly worsen is human activity, our inventions and the things we use every day.
We live in a society that cannot stop producing new things and constantly craving even more. Every time we accomplish something; we strive for the next big innovation. We have access to countless resources on the internet that provide tips on how to slow down climate change. We see proof everywhere warning us that we are responsible for this crisis, yet we do nothing about it. As human beings we could ameliorate the environmental conditions we have been using and benefit on innovations around the world.
To sum up, it’ s high time we came to our senses about possible consequences and where we might end up if we don’ t act accordingly. We need to take responsibility and act in the best interest of our world. Let’ s fight together and make our world live a little longer step by step.
