As Heraclius said ” There is nothing permanent except change .” This change can be positive , negative or both . After change people need time to adjust . Generally , if that change is positive , they adjust with ease but if it is a negative one because of the way human mind work , you will need more time for it .
First of all , change depends on how a person copes with it . There are generally two ways . The first is to escape and avoid . And the other one is to control yourself and manage your emotions . The second one is generally the better option since avoiding it won ’ t make it disappear .
Secondly , change depends on how a person reacts . There are four main stages for it . First is shock . In this stage people generally feel confused and try to make sense of the situation . Second is emotional response . This stage is the response of mind after the shock . It is generally a wave of strong emotions and can be hard to move on . Third is the new normal . In this stage you generally shift away from what you have lost and focus towards the new one . And lastly the forth one is moving forward . In this stage you fully accept change and move on .
In conclusion , it is important to experience all of them with health and acknowledge your feelings fully . Because if you don ’ t , you might be damaged . So , if you know how to cope with change , it will lead to your new normal .
