What does it mean ?
“ Digital citizenship ” is a term used for people who use social platforms effectively , respectfully , and responsibly .
Why is it important ?
With digital citizenship , students can get better at digital literacy . Digital citizenship can prevent cyberbullying , help with digital health and online safety .
How can we become digital citizens ?
Don ’ t use the Internet rudely , be respectful , treat people like you would treat them face-to-face .
Be careful with what you share and protect your privacy .
Don ’ t use articles , etc . without giving a reference .
Report it to the authorized people if you see someone cyberbullying , doxing someone , etc .
