The INTERNET : everyone loves it ! Anyone can find anything they enjoy or love , but this astonishing tool comes at a price .
On the Internet , as almost all of us know , you can meet and talk to people across the globe , and this might sound amazing at first . However , this also means that any person with ill intentions can get in contact with you , without you even knowing . Everyone ’ s aware of the “ stranger danger ”; our parents or our guardians always warn us about the strangers in real life . Still , what about the ones that lurk online ? Most adults don ’ t even worry about their kids ’ online safety . To prevent this , you can take precautions . These safety measures include keeping your personal information such as your home address , which school you attend and your age hidden .
Without a doubt , one other form of Internet dangers is scams . Thousands , if not millions of people get scammed annually and it ’ s a horrible experience to go through . A scam is , in short , mostly people trusting unrealistically good deals and not getting any returns for which , they paid . It is always something an internet user should be aware of . Moreover , no one should trust non-certified websites with their money as perpetrators can easily steal the money which results in irreversible real-life : “ GAME OVER ”.
Even though the Internet is truly a wonderful place to socialize and have fun , if we are not careful enough , it could turn into a scary and creepy place . So , be very careful about what you do on the Internet .
