The people of the net may be toxic , friendly , racist , or respectful . However , most internet users are not aware of the fact that the ones they are talking to are indeed just another human being that deserves some love and respect . In order to prevent toxicity from spreading throughout the net , the first few sparks to start a great fire might be the initial efforts of just a few friendly people . You see , people treat others the way they are treated by others . To spread the idea of a less aggressive Internet environment , everyone must be aware of the fact that there is no difference between talking face-to-face and chatting online . In both conditions , words can be hurtful . So , next time you are chatting online , keep in mind that you ’ re talking to a real person and not some emotionless chat-bot .
