Last Wednesday afternoon the High
School and Sixth Ward teams crossed
bats in a very Interesting game of base-
ball. Our boys proved too strong for
thetr old rivals and won by a score of
17 to 8. The feature of the game was
the steady pitching of Weyerman.
Hur;"irh"for the Austin High School
baseball team ! It is invincible.
The
members have had the honor of gain-
ing sevenal Interesting match games,
played on the University grounds. They
are ready for business any time they
may be chaltenged.

The Comet has become quite a pop-
lar paper. It receives exchanges from
all parts 'Of the United States. It is
