Women can do it all!

Lebo Leshabane joined iX engineers( Pty) Ltd, a product of a partial merger between Worley Parsons PI business and Black Jills Engineers( Pty) Ltd consulting business, on 1 October 2016, as the chief executive officer. And she stands by her credo: women can do it all!
Please outline, briefly, your career path and qualifications.
I was born in South Africa and obtained a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Wits University, a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering( GDE) majoring in Project Management, Property Law and Geotechnical Engineering from Wits University; and a
Business Management Certificate from UNISA. Thereafter, I was involved in various projects in the civil engineering fraternity, which included design of infrastructure services such as water, roads, sanitation and storm water; project management, construction management and infrastructure maintenance. I started my career at BT Mongwe & Associates in Midrand in February 2002 as an engineer in training. In February 2003 I moved to Spoornet in Johannesburg as an engineer, part of the project management team that was assessing the Train Monitoring Pilot project worth R300-million. In January 2004 I was transferred to Spoornet Geotechnical Department, where I was responsible for the implementation of the five-year rail rehabilitation plan.
