The government of the Republic of Ghana has developed a strategy for active participation and involvement of the private sector in the delivery of public infrastructure and social services for accelerated national growth, through publicprivate partnerships( PPPs). Through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly( SODA), the government intends developing the Dodowa Market using the PPP arrangement. The project will cover the construction of a modern market suitable for trading within the District Assembly and beyond, on a 15-acre land space situated at the current location. The main objective of the assignment is to develop a well-structured viable and bankable PPP project to enable SODA to procure a suitable private developer to develop the proposed project in line with the National Policy, Guidelines and Regulations on PPPs.

The scope of work for the consulting services will involve carrying out of project feasibility study and structuring, as well as supporting the Assembly in selecting a suitable project sponsor to execute the project. The Assembly hereby invites expression of interest for the recruitment of transaction advisory services to carry out feasibility study and follow-up PPP procurement activities for the Dodowa Market PPP project.
