THINGS TO NOTE:
-It is completely normal to break a few (or a lot) your
first time!
-I prefer to use macarons filled with ganache (as
opposed to buttercream) both for the taste and for
their strength in warm weather. You don’t want
your macaron filling melting and the macarons
sliding from their sticks.
-It is highly likely that you will have gaps between
your macarons at some points around your tower
and this is where beautiful embellishments can not
only be a saving grace but also a way to ensure our
tower is the star of the show! Fresh or silk flowers,
ribbons, fondant flowers, cake lace, garlands, and
decorative twine are all materials that can be used
to turn the tower from ‘pretty’ to ‘perfection’.
-Practice makes perfect!
