Hello Everybody today we have our esteamed colleague- Hannah Zucker- interviewing one of the most prominent and currently, the most talked about person in all of the 127 provinces- Achashverosh. He is here to talk today about his old wife vashti and his potential new queen.
Hannah: So Achashverosh, we heard that you Killed your wife...the reasons and your motives are still unclear to the population. Can you clear it up for us?
Achashverosh: Well, as to why I killed the queen, I felt that she was ruining my power. She has to listen to me; I am the king! It took me a long time to become so powerful, and I am not going to let anyone get in my way.
Hannah: Oh I see. Well did anyone influence you to make the decision to get rid of her?
Achashverosh: I have an advisor, Memuchan, who helped me think about the big picture. Vashti’s refusal to listen to me was a global issue; every woman would believe they could disobey their husbands. This would create mayhem! But don’t get me wrong, I knew this in the back of my mind, Memuchan was just there to help me put it into words. And he said it perfectly: “not only against the king has queen Vashti done wrong, but against all the officials and all the people in all the provinces of King Achashverosh.”

Achashverosh: Well I want her to be beautiful as well as obeying. My last wife got me into trouble.. so I want this new wife to stay clear of not listening to my orders.
Hannah: That’s it? Nothing more?
Achashverosh: Oh yeah. I need her to not be of royal descent. But I cannot discuss my reasons why.
Hannah: Maybe you can tell me when the cameras stop rolling.
Achashverosh: I’m sorry. I cannot discuss this with anyone.
Hannah: Oh well it actually looks like we are about to go on break. Thank you sir. It was great having you here today.
