EDIBLE CHRISTMAS
DECORATIONS
USING PLASTIC ICING
This season make your own edible decorations out
of plastic icing / fondant.
You will need:
Plastic icing
Colouring
CMC powder
Cutters and or moulds
Method
Mix any food colouring into your icing until you
have the desired colours.
Add cmc into your icing. (1 teaspoon per 250g)
This will give your icing more flexibility and allow it
to harden while keeping it’s shape.
Roll out the icing and simply cut out your shapes.
Dampen finished decoration lightly with water and
then sprinkle on glitter.
When using a mould simply press the icing into the
mould and then release it immediately.
