Campus Life

Working countless hours throughout the entire day, there is an integral group of people in the Providence Day community that go unnoticed.

The faculty and coaches at Providence Day are well known, but very few know the support staff, who basically keep the campus running.

Every day, there are scores of people at Providence Day who go unnoticed and unknown to the Providence Day community. This group of faculty is the support staff; a group of individuals that does much of the strenuous and grinding labor to keep PD in top condition but rarely are noticed or thanked for their contributions to PD.

During my junior year, a class assignment involved learning some names of some support staff members. The assignment increased my interest in this humble and hardworking group, and I started spending time with them. Though they are comfortable working behind the scenes and not getting much recognition, the entire support staff very open and were enticed to get to know other members of the PD community. Because they greeted me with open arms and treated me like family, I thought it was only right to shed some light on the great people that make up the PD support staff, hopefully allowing more members of the PD community to recognize and appreciate all their work.
