Martha has been quilting for over 40 years. She buys fabric because it calls to her and de- lights years later when the fabric says, “It’s my time to be used.” She enjoys the wordless experience of seeing a quilt in her head and feeling it in her hands. Currently she’s working on about seven projects. The quilts in her head are beyond counting. Martha’s art will be on display in the clubhouse through October. We have tabulated the responses in hand, and below is a snap shot of those responses: ■ 80% agree and an addi- tional 13% somewhat agree that the Clubhouse is a valu- able community asset. ■ 79% agree and an addi- tional 14% somewhat agree that Charbonneau should be attractive to all age groups that live here. ■ 76% agree and an addi- tional 18% somewhat agree that their property value is linked to the community and amenities offered. ■ 78% agree and an addi- tional 16% somewhat agree that that their property value is linked to Charbonneau having a golf course. ■ Over one-third have lived in Charbonneau less than five years. ■ Over 75% are retired.
