December 2019
The Niners
By KATHRYN HARTLAUB
It’s a wrap, Niners!
This is it,
Niners! The final
scores of the
season. To be el-
igible for win-
nings, there
must be 20 or
HARTLAUB more players.
There were sev-
eral that braved
the cold (37 degrees). Suzanne Bux-
ton started out with a hot Venti
Starbucks and on hole No. 5 said,
“I have iced coffee!”
The Niners Executive Board hosted
an end-of-season party at Marikate
Book’s house on Oct. 22.The Executive
Board, Marikate Book, Karen Siegel,
Connie Robertson, Sandy McCallister
and Mary Fieweger thanked all com-
mittee chairs and board members for
a very successful 2019 season.
We are still looking for a chairper-
son and committees for both the
Scramble Game Coordinator and
Scramble Luncheon Coordinator.
Like to garden? For just a few hours
here and there, you can get your
hands a little dirty and have some
fun. You can call Mary Fieweger for
information on these committees.
The sign-up sheets will also be out at
the Welcome Back Coffee April 7,
2020. We hope to see you there!
Breaking News! Joanna Sawyer,
Robyn Andrus and Cheryl Barnum
have already selected the theme for
Judy Cain, pictured here, and Kathryn Hartlaub
will be the new Niners columnists. The Niners Executive Board hosted an end-of-season party.
the Niners performance in 2020! The

drew Sisters and more favorites! The

life! This is Judy’s second year as a
Niner, and she looks forward to a
wonderful experience.
Kathy has retired from a career in
education and also enjoys her time as
a grandmother with travel, quilting,
yoga and golf rounding out her active
