One of the most frequently asked questions in Banville & Jones is:“ What was that last wine I bought?” We love that question. We love it when people discover new favourites, and come back for them.
Keeping track of your personal wine history has always been one of the top features of being in the Banville & Jones database. The biggest drawback is that you can only access your wine history when you are in the store, which doesn’ t help when you want to tell someone about your new favourite.
Luckily, we live in the age of accessibility! When a couple of customers, Ryan Kibbins and Charles Bouchard, approached us to say that they had been working on the same problem, we sat down and listened!
What eventually came out of that meeting was what you know as CornerVine, your online wine library. The site was developed as a place where you can track your purchases, and also rate them, share them with friends, and recommend them to people who share the same tastes. Once you register and validate your account, all of your Banville & Jones wine purchases will be immediately transferred to“ My Wines” on your personal CornerVine page. If you buy a bottle of wine Friday afternoon, by the time you get home and crack it, you can rate it on your personal site! My favourite part is that I can put notes up that
