Introducing Peer Networks

Swindon and Wiltshire business leaders are being offered a new business support programme to help develop and grow their organisations for future success .
Peer Networks is part of a national networking programme and will be run as a pilot , delivered locally by Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub .
The aim of Peer Networks is to create diverse cohort groups of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues . Through interactive action learning , participants will be encouraged to discuss their challenges , gain and reflect on feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them . The programme ’ s longer-term aims are focussed on reducing the UK productivity gap by helping business leaders find practical solutions to strategic and operational challenges .
From finance and HR , to sales , marketing and more , the programme ’ s expert facilitators will give business leaders the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for them , helping them to build and strengthen their business and improve its overall performance .

The Growth Hub is very pleased to bring the knowledge and experience of local experts in leadership and resilience , digital skills , and finance and sales to support Swindon and Wiltshire businesses .
Delivered as live webinars , which will be available on-demand after the event , the series is focused upon navigating your business through the significant challenges of today , and into a brighter future .
There are regular events planned , with the first ones in October being in partnership with Team i and Local IQ . The sessions led by Team i will focus on the importance of great leadership , enabling companies to embed the key elements of elite sport success into the business environment . The Local IQ sessions will discuss the need to embrace digital transformation , changing the way businesses
Department for Business , Energy & Industrial Strategy ( BEIS ) in response to a commitment made in the 2019 Business Productivity Review .
If you are a business interested in joining the programme you must meet the following criteria :
Have operated for at least one year Employ at least five members of staff Have a turnover of at least £ 100,000 Have an aspiration to improve and grow
Businesses will ideally have the potential to scale up or export or be exporting already . The programme will be delivered through a series of high impact group sessions , with each cohort led by a trained facilitator .

The events are currently scheduled for Thursdays throughout October and November .
