TAKE A LOOK INSIDE THE NEW DIGITAL MANSION
Calne’s Elm Workspace have recently put the finishing touches
on the interior design of the Digital Mansion in Corsham.
Based on Pickwick Road close to the town’s
centre, the Digital Mansion House offers a
high spec, connected and supported work
environment in a beautiful setting.
Aimed at a new breed of digital entrepreneur,
the fully renovated grade-2 listed building
offers offices and networking space, a dozen
co-working desks, meeting and training rooms,
as well as hidden nooks and soft seating for
informal meetings, break-outs or tune-ins.
Working closely with DKA Architects, Elm
Workspace were asked by Wiltshire Council
to provide furniture ideas. The brief was to
provide break-out spaces along with areas for
companies to lease. The look and feel of the
spaces were designed to appeal to businesses
working within the digital and innovation sectors.
The project team worked through each area
focusing on the right look and contemporary
feel of the furniture. Collaboration within the
breakout spaces was key to help companies
network with each other.
3D visuals were produced for a bespoke
lightbulb shape conference table to be used
as hot desks or a bookable meeting space.
The project also required outdoor furniture
which was a bespoke design created and
installed by Elm.
Elm designer, Gary Foy, said, “It was great to
work on this special project, helping to breathe
life into an old building and create an inspiring
place to work and innovate.”
