INSIDE THIS EDITION
4 BUSINESS NEWS
Welcome to the December 2016/ January
2017 edition of The Business Exchange
Swindon & Wiltshire.
2016 has been a stellar year for The
Business Exchange, celebrating three years
in business this September and marking
it with the launch of our new Bath &
Somerset magazine.
We couldn’t have asked for a better
response to our Bath & Somerset offering
and can’t wait to build on the progress
we’ve made in 2016. Being Bath’s only
business-to-business publication is an
exciting prospect and there’s lots of room
for growth in 2017 and beyond. Turn to
page 36 to find out more about our launch
party and see who was in attendance.
In 2017 we look to continually improve
and develop our print and online offering.
Our 2016 Start-up September competition
was a particular success and we look to
come up with new initiatives that make
a real difference to the local business
community. This year’s competition
generated £10,462 worth of prizes that
directly benefited new businesses in
Swindon and Wiltshire. We believe that’s
a real achievement and thank all of our
prize donors for giving something back and
helping start-ups in the county.
I would like to take this opportunity to
say a big thank you to all of our readers
and advertisers for your continued support,
without you, our business wouldn’t be
growing year on year. Special thanks also
go to our freelancers and contributors, your
hard work never goes unnoticed.
Wishing you a very happy Christmas and
a prosperous 2017.
