Nationwide welcomes
new recruits
Nationwide has just welcomed the 2015 emerging
talent cohort.
Graduates, apprentices and industrial placement employees
have taken up posts in business areas across the society as part
of a programme which has been expanded this year to more
than 135 posts- up from 62 last year.
A further Emerging Talent Programme intake is set to take
place in January 2016 increasing the programme numbers
further. Nationwide’s HR director Ann Brown said: “These new
recruits are a real credit to Nationwide which is why we took
the decision to increase this year’s emerging talent intake.
We’re looking for talented people who share Nationwide’s
commitment to doing the right thing and our Emerging Talent
Programme offers successful candidates training, development
and an excellent kick-start to their Nationwide career. As well
as these formal posts, we’re also supporting young people who
wish to gain experience in the workplace and this summer more
than 100 school pupils took part in work experience placements
at Nationwide where they gained valuable skills and an insight
into working for the world’s largest building society.”
