NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
INSIDE THIS EDITION
4 BUSINESS NEWS
Welcome to our first anniversary edition.
I can’t believe it’s been a year since we
launched The Business Exchange in Bath,
the city’s only business magazine. It’s been
a fantastic year for us and I can’t thank our
readers, supporters and advertisers enough.
As a business we’re also celebrating four
years of our Swindon & Wiltshire edition.
The Business Exchange has been a complete
labour of love for me and I’m really proud
of how it’s been received in both areas. In
an ever-shrinking publishing industry it’s
great that a regional title like TBE is bucking
the trend and we’re continually growing.
I think the key to our success is that we
pair print, online and social media together
giving our readers choice in how they want
to read our products, whilst providing
maximum exposure for our advertisers at a
competitive price.
In this special edition we’re recognising
enterprise at both ends of the business
journey. On page 36 we’re launching
our Start-up September Competition.
From 1-30 September start-ups in Bath &
Somerset can win a prize every day to help
get their project off the ground. And on
pages 20-22 we’re celebrating Bath’s Top
100 firms ranked by turnover.
I’m proud to announce that we’re the
official business media partner for the
2018 Bath Half Marathon, taking place on
March,4, 2018. Turn to page 6 to find out
more about the Corporate Challenge.
