2022 has brought a significant amount of change and turmoil . In employment terms , recruiting and retaining employees has been at the top of the agenda as a result of the Great Resignation and record numbers of job vacancies . In addition , in the midst of soaring inflation , organisations have experienced spiralling costs and have sought to support employees through times of financial difficulty .
