Bath Expo have announced Google’s Digital Garage will be hosting several seminars looking at digital issues affecting businesses today. The full seminar schedule will be released in early 2020. Bath Expo organiser, James Tribe, Director of Get Connected Expos said, “We want each expo to add real value to the region’s business community each year, working as a hub of business activity and supporting contact- making across a wide range of industries and sectors. “We would like to reach out to all stakeholders in the community, including businesses, charities and support agencies to invite them to get in touch with us and see how they can be involved.” Get Connected Expos have further business shows planned in 2020 with Bristol Business Expo on 17th September at Colston Hall and Swindon Expo on 15th October at Steam Museum, Swindon. Fastest ever sell-out for the 2020 Bath Half Running High Events, organisers of the Bath Half Marathon, supported by Bishop Fleming, have announced that public entries have sold out in record time for the 2020 race which takes place on Sunday 15th March. The race, which welcomes 17,500 runners to the streets of Bath each spring, sold out around six weeks earlier than usual. The early sell out of the Bath Half Marathon is owed to its ever-growing popularity as one of the best organised, longest established and most iconic city centre road races in the UK. It is also down to the increased number of places pre- booked by charities, with a record number of charity entries reserved for 2020’s half marathon. Those still wishing to run the Bath Half can do so by running for one of the race’s 136 official charity partners, although these are also selling fast. Some charities still have places available, including Lead Charity partner’s Alzheimer’s Society, NSPCC and Prostate Cancer UK, however others such as Cancer Research UK and Local Lead Charity Partner, Bath Mind, have already sold out. Anyone wishing to run should go to www.bathhalf.co.uk/charities/list-of- charities for a list of all the 2020 charities. There are also entries remaining in the Corporate Challenge for business teams, which offers a unique team building experience as well as a fantastic fundraising opportunity for businesses of all sizes and their guests, although these are also expected to sell out shortly. Race Director Andrew Taylor said, “This is the twenty-first successive year the race has sold out, and it’s a reflection of the event’s enduring popularity that it’s selling out quicker year on year. We expect the remaining Corporate Challenge and charity places to be snapped up fast, so I would urge anyone interested in running to register as soon as possible. We wish all our runners the best of luck with their winter training and we look forward to seeing them on the start line in March.” For more info: www.bathhalf.co.uk GET SOME ZEST FOR XERO WITH PURPLE LIME’S INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS 01225 904898 4 www.tbebathandsomerset.co.uk [email protected] www.purplelimetraining.co.uk
