FEATURES
EDITOR’S NOTE
Welcome to the new look
Business Exchange.
Following our special ‘Going Green’
issues this year, asking, how green is
your business? We reviewed our own
processes to ensure we’re doing our bit
to look after our planet. Although we’ve
always used recyclable, FSC paper and
work with a printer passionate about
keeping down its global footprint, we
wanted to ensure we are printing our
magazines in the most environmentally
friendly way.
We have now done away with the less
green glossy cover, in favour of a modern
matt look, produced on high-end paper.
Using the new printing methods, we can
now proudly display the FSC and recycle
logos. This is forward thinking as most
publishers are still behind on this. We hope
you love the new look and feel as much as
we do, we think the new paper makes the
magazine even more tangible.
2019 has been an interesting year. For
the most part it’s felt like we’ve been stuck
in first gear with the ‘Hokey Cokey’ of Brexit
dominating the headlines. However, for
most it’s been a case of ‘keep calm and
carry on’, shaping up our businesses for
every eventuality and concentrating on the
bottom line.
In this special edition, read our business
review of the year 2019 and find out what’s
new for our region in 2020.
Wishing you a happy Christmas and a
prosperous new year.
