THE BEST OF BUSINESS IN BATH
Bath’s only business show - The Bath Business Expo is returning
to the Assembly Rooms for its fifth year on Thursday 21st March.
Organised by Get Connected Expos, the event attracts over 500 delegates and 100+
exhibitors. This year is set to be bigger than ever with a mix of educational seminar
sessions on a range of topical business subjects, speed networking and sector specific
networking to truly help you connect.
The event is free to attend, but you must register
your attendance via the Bath Business Expo website.
Bath Business Expo is well-supported by the local
business community with Owen Limited Chartered
Accountants & Financial Advisors being the
headline sponsor, alongside Datasharp Integrated
Communications.
The Business Exchange is proud to be exhibiting
at the event and we will be in good company with
Bath Historic Venues, Metro Bank, Go Get Organised,
CMD Recruitment, Business West and 1st Office
being just some of the other exhibitors confirmed

To kick-start the day there will be a special
networking breakfast, hosted by Phillipa Constable,
founder of We Mean Biz. In this fun and interactive
session all you need to bring is yourself, an open
mind and a great big smile. It’s just £10 to attend
and includes coffee or tea and breakfast rolls and
pastries.

it’s help with making new connections for mature
and successful firms, or businesses in need of some
help and support in specific areas, or even if you’re
dreaming of setting up your own company – you will
find something useful in this jam-packed day.”

Sustainability at
Wessex Water

Wessex Water first committed to becoming a sustainable
water company in 1996. This talk will discuss what happened
next, how Wessex Water took sustainability from a concept to
being central to its strategy and day-to-day work.
The session will be presented by Dan Green, Head of
Sustainability and Innovation at Wessex Water. His team
oversees Wessex Water’s sustainability strategy and its
innovation and research programme, plus specific areas
such as carbon accounting and forecasting, and climate
change adaption.

Sharron Davies MBE remains one of Britain’s most
recognisable sporting women. Astonishingly, she was an
Olympian at 13. An extraordinary swimming career saw
her win medals in all major championships and beating a
staggering 200+ national and international records, some
of which stood for over a decade.
As a 15-year-old she was a double Commonwealth
Gold Medallist and her famous Olympic Silver Medal was
achieved only behind a proven steroid assisted German.
A successful high-profile media career has spanned over
25 years. Also a dedicated mother of three, Sharron has
known triumph and adversity in her personal life and in a
sporting context and knows what it takes to operate at the
highest level, to prioritise, multi-task, overcome obstacles
and attain success.
