Sharpening your Chainsaw! BY GREG DAHL   In this video you will see how I sharpen my chain for optimal use. You will see what I use for angles and how to not heat up the steal.   One of the worst feeling when you just finished sharpening your saw is when you start to cut again and it feels dull or is cutting crooked. There is nothing more frustrating. You spend 30 minutes sharpening and it is as dull when you quit to go and sharpen your saw.   I have heard it be said that you can never get your chain as sharp Page 11 as from the store. I beg the differ. I will teach you how to get that chain as sharp as possible. A sharp saw is a safe saw. A sharp saw affords less ware and tear on your saw motor, bar and bushings. You will see how keeping a sharp saw can save you money. A sharp saw cuts faster so cost are reduced. Also there is less fatigue on your body so you can be more efficient.   Watch the video!   Rushing to sharpen a chain will never work. Take your time. Learn what it take to do the job right and you will save time, be safer and have your saw running well for a long time.   Of course this is my opinion and this is what works for me. I am sure there are other techniques that work as well as mine. Happy sharpening
