help. Polish helped the Jews, but they often died because of that. The Ulmas’ family
was one of many people who did it .
They are the symbol of all families who saved the Jews .On March 24 1944 in the
morning, the German army surrounded the Ulmas’ family house and shot eight Jews
next then Józef and Wiktoria Ulma and their six children. The family was very brave.
Apart from to the fact that Poland has a very interesting and moving historical
background is also characterized by the fact that many great and famous scientists,
writers, athletes and also the spiritual people come from here. They are e.g. Maria
Skłodowska-Curie,Mikołaj
Kopernik,
Sienkiewicz, Robert Lewandowski
Adam
Mickiewicz,
Henryk
and Jan Paweł II. They are the pride of the
Polish nation and also the authority for many people.
In the last argument I will refer to Polish tradition and culture. In no other country in the
world there are as many wonderful folk rituals as in Poland. An example of one of them
may be greeting with bread and salt. It is a beautiful custom to greet special guests
with bread and salt.
Taking everything into account I think that the above arguments take into account my
thesis that I am proud of my homeland. I strongly believe that people who live in Poland
should respect Polish nation colors , national anthem, emblem and they should be
proud of it.

Family values in contemporary society
The role of the family in the modern word plays a very important role. Everything starts
at home. The family prepares for life in society and teaches how to follow social norms.
