gained, our manager
learnt lessons from the
previous campaign and it
is working for us."
Speaking of the boss
Jonathan Rimmington,
Redford paid credit to him:
"He is a good
communicator, he will put
his arm round your
shoulder and he has
recruited well, so he
deserves credit for what
has happened at the club,
it is nice to see people
leaving the ground with a
smile on their faces, for
the fans it's great value for
money, only a fiver
for adults, it's a
different
experience,
we are
playing a
good
style
and with
the goals
we are
getting, it is
entertaining for
all."
After making a
good start
which as of
writing this
piece
meant
Redford
had got
onto the
scoresheet
on six
occasions,
and he says a change in
position has helped him make
more of an impression when it
comes to finding the net: "I
played on the wing last season,
it meant I could not get the
goals I wanted to, but I am a
team player and the main thing
during the last season was to
stay up and after we did that
now I can get the goals, it is
something I enjoy doing and I
think that I want to get 20 goals
this season, I believe that is a
realistic aim for me."
When looking at what the side
should be achieving, Redford
has a claim aim in mind: "We
have made a great start and we
want to build on it. I think if we
can get a top ten finish it would
show progression from the last
season and give us something
to build on. Also it would be a
positive for us all; we have
added more quality to the side
and that means our aim should
be to do better and I think that
is achievable with what we have
got. If we perform like we know
we can, we can do this and that
would be great."
