“Yes. That is what our messengers are for. Ah Chun Caan will
always be ready to serve you. All you need to do is call him,” Ek
Chuah said.
“And how can we do that?” Tital asked.
“By using your powers, all of the Spirits, I should say the good
Spirits, are always ready to help you in anything you may need
from us. You can summon us by simply calling out our name
three times in a row. We then will appear to help you on
whatever planet you are on, in whatever Universe,” Ek Chuah
said.
“I would like to take a digital camera, like this one. It is a 24
Megapixel Canon. Remember, my mother is a professional
photographer.” Bardala said. “Somehow I would like to send her
pictures, so she knows that we are alright. I always used the web
site Facebook to send photos.”
“Yes, you can take any battery operated device, but there are
no radio stations like WABC, or as I said before, you will not see
NBC,” Ek Chuah told them again.
“We can take some two-way walkie-talkies for us to
communicate with. They can reach up to two kilometers. Let’s
see, ICOM has some nice ones. The N-72 model will work fine,”
Tital said. “We will need a solar battery charger, and we can get
that at Adorama. The model Solaris 26 Watt should be great for
what we will need to keep charged.”
The last items Ek Chuah told them about were the magically
endowed medallions. “Look in this book of Huracán’s and find
your birthday. That should tell me which protective medallions
you must wear.” He handed the ancient Mayan book to Tital.
“You mean we can have one like Bardala’s medallion?”
Jonathan asked.
