so steep that everyone waited untill the other person had
finished their climb to start up the stairs. Both of them fully
expected to see Moka and Eegh greeting them, as they climbed
into the Queen’s Chamber. What they saw of an Otherworldly
Portal door opened did not surprise them. They had seen them
several times before. Not seeing Moka or Eegh, Kuó and Lena
unsuspectingly walked forward towards the beckoning Portal
door. They walked down an aisle lined by the immobile stone
statues.
“Moka, Eegh, where are you?” Lena shouted out. Only the
echo bounced around in the large room.
Then, swift as an eagle dropping out of the sky, from behind
two statues of stone, both Ah Peku and Ikal Ahau floated. They
had waited until Kuó and Lena were standing directly in front of
Yum Cimil’s portal door then from behind pushed them with all
their force into the Otherworldly void. Both horses reared back,
and everything was in confusion when the rest of the
crewmembers heard the horse’s frightful neighing.
“What’s happening?” Bardala yelled from the floor of the
King’s chamber.
Jonathan, who was near the top of the stairs with his horse,
Mañoso, yelled to the crew, “There must be trouble. Cenit and
Turbo are running around loose in the Queen’s chamber. I can
