Mary Fox was pleasantly
surprised with a party in
honor of her eightieth birth-
day. Friends and family spent
the evening playing cards and
visiting. Here’s to many more,
Mary!
Sunman Elementary School
held a program in honor of
Veteran’s Day on Nov. 9. The
students had a wonderful pre-
sentation for our veterans. The
guest speaker was Cordell
Feuston, Army Veteran. After
the program, all of the stu-
dents personally thanked each
veteran in attendance for their
service.
Congratulations go out to
Patty and Darryl Steinmetz
on the birth of their first
grandchild! Bronson Lee was
born on Nov. 21. Proud par-
ents are Brad Steinmetz and
Kelsey Land. Grandparents
are Sheryl and Tom Land of
Lebanon, IN. Great-grand-
mothers are Janie Lewis and
Ruth Bischoff and Great
Uncle Roger Bischoff.
The time has come for high
school seniors to apply for
scholarships. Get in touch
with your school’s guidance
counselors to check out all
of the scholarships that are
available. So many scholar-
ships go unclaimed each year
because no one applied for
them. If you are going to
