Houston Livestock and Rodeo (seen

The four years I have been in FFA taught me lessons that will
last a lifetime. I ve experienced many failures, as well as many
successes through the FFA. FFA has taught me that
throughout life, it is important to always be humble, respectful,
and hard-working. - Brianna Kunkel 12
The Jasper FFA Chapter has had
a busy year as usual yet even with
livestock, competitions, and
meetings the members and
officers have had a great year.
Whether the members were
involved with livestock or not they
got the oppurtunity to visit the
animals and help out around at
the new barn. As for the kids
participating in and raising
livestock at the barn they ve also
made their marks at rodeos
where two of them (Makayla
Woolems and Jacarlin Limbrick)
won calf scrambles. Welding
received a blue ribbon at the San
Antonio Livestock and Rodeo
while horse judging got the
chance to participate in both the
San Antonio and Houston
Livestock and Rodeo. Even
horticulture got involved this year
and has completed many projects
that will help the community in the
future.
