Over the years , Terri has been such an integral and special part of the Atlanta Bar . Her warm demeanor welcoming me as a younger lawyer to the Atlanta Bar years ago has truly made difference in my professional career . Now , as part of the Board of Directors , I appreciate Terri ’ s leadership , organization , and guidance , especially during the challenges from COVID-19 . You have touched the lives of so many of us , and Terri , we wish you and your lovely family the very best . Thanks again !

Terri has been such a big part of my Atlanta Bar journey . She has been an invaluable resource and cheerleader , from the first committee I joined to the first section I chaired . Terri and I hit it off from the very beginning , and , lo and behold , it turns out we are also sorority sisters ! I will miss our chats at events and in the office . You have projected grace and calm through your leadership , balanced with a killer sense of humor . I respect and admire you tremendously , my friend , and wish you all the best in this next chapter !

I recall first meeting Terri at one of the Law Jam fundraisers for the Atlanta Bar Foundation . She was newly married and her husband , Geoff , was in attendance as well . I thought how nice of him to support her in her new position as the executive director of the Atlanta Bar . In the past almost nine years , I have seen Terri and Geoff at numerous Atlanta Bar and Foundation events and with the same level of enthusiasm and support as year one . Terri is a consummate professional . She is knowledgeable , caring , supportive , passionate about the people who work for her and , more importantly , passionate about the success of the Atlanta Bar and the Foundation . She will be sorely missed by so many . Best wishes and prayers for what comes next .
-Betsy C . Griswold , Atlanta Bar Foundation President 2020-2021
The Atlanta Bar is better off for Terri ’ s stewardship during her tenure . Long before the COVID-19 crisis , Terri kept us grounded to the foundations that bind us – our mission , our bylaws – while gracefully championing the Atlanta Bar ’ s commitment to innovation and adaptation . Terri also leveraged her strong interpersonal relationships with other major metro area voluntary bar leaders around the country to ensure that the she was bringing the best ideas and practices to the Atlanta Bar . Thankfully , the Atlanta Bar had Terri at its helm during the past 18 months . This has been an unforgettable ride , and I will always remember Terri ’ s capable leadership fondly .
