Prior to joining the Harrison Institute,
Anderson worked in the real estate
group at Sidley Austin LLP, in Chicago,
where her practice had an emphasis on
corporate and financing transactions.
On top of her many accomplishments
in the field of law, she is also the CEO of
her own company and a fitness instruc-
tor. She, along with another attorney,
founded Vibe Ride, an Indoor-cycling
studio that offers a variety of classes,
including non-cycling classes like barre,
to meet a broader range of fitness ob-
jectives. Professor Anderson says she
started Vibe Ride because she missed
cycling in D.C. and Chicago and too
many cycling studios in Atlanta were
just missing something. Some studios
lacked the energy, others skimped on
the amenities, and the Atlanta streets
are too packed with cars. Vibe Ride
hosts a high energy environment, that
mixes up the traditional spin class, with
a schedule filled with classes like “Pop
Princesses to Hip-Hop Hotties [Music]
Video” Bike Rides and Pound Class,
which is pilates-based cardio with
weighted drumsticks. Anderson said
her legal experience does often come
in handy while running her business.
She is set to open a new location in
Grant Park in January of next year.
The Midtown Studio is located at 950
W Peachtree St NW, Suite 225, Atlanta,
GA 30309.
Prior to attending law school, 2L stu-
dent, Don Edwards worked as a tech-
nology specialist and patent agent at
a large law firm in Atlanta, Ga. His
responsibilities included interview-
ing inventors to identify each unique
and novel concept, drafting patent
applications, and prosecution of pat-
ent applications. His position is what
prompted him to attend law school,
but has since decided practice of the
law is no longer his path. A veteran
