Bankruptcy Section
Bestowed National Award The Atlanta Chapter of Credit Abuse
Resistance Education (CARE), which is
coordinated by the Atlanta Bar Asso-
ciation Bankruptcy Section, has been
named the CARE Chapter of the Year
for 2017. CARE is a program that pro-
vides financial literacy education to
high school students. Many members
of the Bankruptcy Section, including attorneys and judges, volunteer to
teach these financial literacy classes to
Atlanta-area high school students. The
award will be presented during the
American Bankruptcy Institute’s An-
nual Winter Leadership Conference,
set to be held November 30-December
1, 2017 in Palm Springs, California.
